Common Questions
How do I request account or data deletion?
You can delete your Wimme account in the app from Account Settings -> Delete Account. After deletion is confirmed, Wimme immediately disables account access and starts the deletion process. Once the deletion process starts, it cannot be canceled or undone. Associated account records, child profiles, saved stories, generated story content, generated story media, and storage objects are usually deleted within 24 hours. Limited purchase, security, fraud-prevention, legal, or dispute-resolution records may be retained when necessary.
For help with account deletion, child profile deletion, saved stories, generated story media, access, correction, or other parent or guardian privacy requests, email support@wimme.app from the address associated with your Wimme account. We may need to verify that the request comes from the parent or guardian managing the account.
Who handles payments?
In-app purchases are processed by Apple. Wimme receives purchase records needed to deliver purchased story credits, but we do not receive or store payment card numbers or bank account information.
How are story credits handled after a purchase change?
Story credits are used to create and deliver stories. If Apple changes or reverses a purchase, Wimme may adjust the account's internal credit balance so future purchases and delivered story access remain consistent. Delivered stories remain available unless an account or story is deleted.
Why does Wimme ask for microphone or photo access?
Microphone access supports live story interaction. Photo access may be used when a parent chooses an avatar or other optional story-related content. You can manage these permissions in iOS Settings.
Does Wimme store live voice recordings?
Wimme uses live voice audio to process the real-time interaction and generate a response. Wimme does not store raw live voice recordings after the real-time request is completed. If a child's voice audio is collected only to answer a specific real-time request, Wimme uses it for that request and deletes the raw audio after the response is completed. Resulting story text, summaries, preferences, or saved story content may be stored as part of App functionality. Wimme-generated read-aloud audio is not a recording of the user; it is story content created by Wimme to read a story aloud.
Can parents manage child profile information?
Yes. Wimme is intended to be managed by parents or guardians. Contact support@wimme.app for access, correction, deletion, or refusal of further collection or use related to child profiles, saved stories, generated story media, or account information.
What operator contact details are available for privacy requests?
LittleWhim Ltd. responds to privacy, data, and parent or guardian requests at support@wimme.app. The Privacy Policy lists LittleWhim Ltd.'s public mailing address and telephone number.
